On April 7, Sandy Ryon, Board Chair, Miles Arnott and the staff of Bowman's Hill hosted a wonderful dedication of the Bowman's Hill Bird Observatory. Improvements include birding displays engineered in such as way as to provide education without interfering with the the view. Some pictures from the celebration are below.
We are really excited about our new partnership with Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. Their wonderful 6ft x 60ft windowed bird observation area (equipped with WBU feeders, seed and suet) provides a magnificent forum for bird watching. With its forest backdrop, it is easy to see and appreciate these marvelous creatures. Below are some pictures taken on Jan 12, 2009.
